As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance consumer protection and ensure compliance within the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, significant changes have been implemented. Effective from 1 August 2024, door knocking for residential and commercial upgrades under the VEU program is now strictly prohibited. This new regulation aims to safeguard consumers from unsolicited and potentially misleading sales tactics, while also promoting a more transparent and trustworthy process for energy efficiency upgrades.
